To save the clam, a cooperative system among the public, government, and academia is being established. The National Institute of Fisheries Science announced that on the 5th, a meeting of the public, government, and academia was held at the Gochon Tidal Flat Research Center in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province, to discuss the establishment of an association that will serve as the hub of the clam industry and ways to sustainably improve productivity.
