In 2024, the top tea exporting provinces in China were Zhejiang, Anhui, Hunan, Hubei, Fujian, Jiangxi, Henan, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Yunnan, with Zhejiang leading with 156,000 tons and US$470 million. Green tea exports were led by Zhejiang, while Hunan was the largest exporter of black tea. However, there was a decline in the export of oolong and Pu'er tea. Meanwhile, dark tea exports saw good momentum with Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region leading. Shanghai saw an increase in the export of other flower teas.
