Overview of retail prices for food products in the Nizhny Novgorod region

In the region, the prices of fruit and vegetable products have decreased: carrots, onions, and beets. According to data from Nizhny Novgorod Stat as of October 13, in the fruit and vegetable segment of the consumer market of the Nizhny Novgorod region, average prices for certain products have decreased. Thus, carrots have become cheaper by 3.9% (to 28.16 rubles/kg), onions by 2.3% (to 34.12 rubles/kg), and table beets by 2.0% (to 30.1 rubles/kg). Potatoes could be purchased on average for 28.34 rubles/kg, white cabbage for 22.74 rubles/kg, cucumbers for 103.19 rubles/kg, tomatoes for 145.38 rubles/kg, apples for 121.92 rubles/kg, and bananas for 128.36 rubles/kg. Among meat and meat products, pork has slightly decreased in price over the week by 0.2%, to 340.41 rubles/kg.
