Paraguay announces audit to allow meat export to Philippines

From December 2 to 18, 2024, an inspection is scheduled to be conducted by BAI representatives to evaluate the official controls implemented by the Official Veterinary Service in Paraguay. This audit, a crucial step in the negotiation process that began in 2020, will focus on various areas including central laboratories, livestock establishments, regional offices, entry and exit points, and livestock fairs. The goal is to ensure that Paraguay's sanitary practices and official controls meet the international standards required by the Philippines.
