Paraguay slaughtered more than 58 thousand pigs in January

In the first month of the year there was an increase of 12% in pig slaughter in Paraguay. According to the records, 58,156 heads were slaughtered, which meant an increase of 6,179 pigs compared to the level of January 2023, when it reached 51,977 animals. On the other hand, an increase of 11% was recorded in the slaughtered volume, since in January the figure reached 5,242 tons, 505 tons more than the beginning of 2023, when the amount was 4,737 tons.
