Paraguay: Vaccination periods against foot-and-mouth disease and bovine brucellosis are established for 2024

The National Animal Quality and Health Service (Senacsa) established the vaccination periods against foot-and-mouth disease and bovine brucellosis for the year 2024 throughout the national territory. These actions constitute a fundamental strategy for meeting the objectives of the eradication programs for both diseases promoted by the organism. Immunization against foot and mouth disease will have two periods. According to Resolution 1700/23, the first phase will correspond to the general farm (cattle and buffalo), starting from February 19 to March 22 and registration until April 5. The second stage will cover the categories of calves, male and female weaners, from May 6 to June 7, with registration until June 14, in accordance with Resolution 1701/23.
