Paraná Expands Corn Exports in 2025

Corn exports from Paraná registered a 77% growth in the first four months of 2025 compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the Agricultural Situation Bulletin released this Thursday (15) by the Rural Economy Department (Deral), of the State Secretary of Agriculture and Supply (Seab). 1.18 million tons of the cereal were shipped between January and April. The main destination for Paraná's corn was Iran, responsible for 52% of exports in the period. Egypt follows, with 12.8%, and Turkey, with 11.3%. The revenue generated from exports totaled US$ 267.1 million, around R$ 1.5 billion.
