Between January and August 2024, Peru exported 13,726 tons of passion fruit, valued at US$ 46 million, marking a 5% increase in volume but a 9% decrease in value due to a 14% drop in prices. The majority of the exports were processed or frozen, with the Netherlands, the United States, and France being the primary importers. The Netherlands saw a 13% increase in volume but a 5% decrease in value, while the United States and France experienced growth in both volume and value but with price reductions.
