A report by the federal center 'Agroexport' predicts that Russia's pasta exports could surpass 200 thousand tons by 2030, with significant growth already noted in the first seven months of 2024, marking a 20% increase from the previous year. The main importers of Russian pasta are Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Turkmenistan. On a global scale, pasta consumption grew by 2.1% in 2023, reaching 34.3 million tons, with Italy, Turkey, and China leading the exports. Russia's pasta exports positioned it as the 12th largest contributor, accounting for 1.5% of the global supply of 7.8 million tons in 2023.
