According to Agreste's forecasts, French peach and nectarine production for 2023 is estimated to be around 231,000 tonnes, similar to last year's levels but 3% higher than the 2018 average. Occitanie is expected to see a 6% increase in production, while Provence-Alpes-Côte-D'azur is expected to see a 12% increase. However, the Rhône Valley has experienced a 19% decrease in production due to bad weather in June. Despite a decrease in prices over the past year, prices still remain higher than the average prices from 2018-2022.
