(Agraria.pe) Argentina has consolidated its position as the leading global exporter of peanuts (groundnuts) by accounting for 23% of total world exports, according to data from the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of that country. The South American country not only dominates the trade of shelled peanuts and its derivatives, but also ranks fifth in the export of peanut oil and other peanut preparations.
