Turkiye: Peanut harvest started in Adana

Harvest has begun in Adana, where 60 percent of Turkey's peanut needs are met. Pistachios, whose yield has decreased due to hot weather, are being sold for 30 to 31 liras per kilogram, down 40 percent compared to last year. Of the 500 thousand acres of peanuts produced in Turkey, 185 thousand acres are grown in Adana.
