Despite a decrease in imports, Vietnam continued to be the dominant source of pepper for the US, contributing 65.6% to the total imports in 9M2020. However, there was a notable shift towards Brazil as a supplier, with imports from Brazil surging by 54.3% in volume and 43.5% in value, accounting for 18.7% of the total US pepper imports in 9M2020.
