Pepper prices in Vietnam saw a slight increase on September 18, 2020, with prices ranging from 47,500 to 50,000 VND / kg across different provinces. This comes as demand for pepper is on the rise globally, particularly in India, due to falling prices. The US, China, and India are the world's top pepper consumers. Meanwhile, Norway's pepper imports have increased by 13% in the first 7 months of 2020 compared to the same period in 2019. India, Vietnam, Brazil, Sri Lanka, and Denmark are the top suppliers of pepper to Norway. Additionally, the export of key agricultural products from Vietnam to the EU has increased by 15-17% after the Vietnam - Europe Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) was implemented.
