Peru advances talks with China for exports of pomegranates and pecans

Pomegranates, pecans and frozen fruit could soon become the latest Peruvian products to be greenlighted for export to China. Peru’s agriculture minister, Angel Manero, said negotiations with China were advancing and the agreement is expected to be signed at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC) Leaders’ Summit, which will be held in Peru on 10-16 November.
