Peruvian apple exports have seen a dramatic decrease in the first three weeks of March this year, with a total of 265 tons exported, marking an 84% drop from the same period in 2023. The exports primarily consisted of fresh apples (80%) and apple juice (20%). Colombia was the largest market, receiving 80% of the exports, while the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico each took 10%. Key shippers during this timeframe were Transitex – Tránsitos de Extremadura Perú S.A.C., Rucaray S.A., Ulog Perú S.A., and Multifoods S.A.C.
