Peruvian fresh bean exports in 2024 saw a stable value increase compared to the previous year, with the Colombian market doubling its purchases and higher average prices in the US market. The highest export values were recorded in the last months of the year. Despite a slight drop in the average price, there was an 8% increase in volume and a 3% increase in value compared to 2023. South Korea was the primary destination for beans, followed by Colombia. The Euroandino – Paita Port Terminal handled 50% of the shipments, with DP World and APM Terminals processing 35% and 15%, respectively.
