(Agraria.pe) Between January and October of 2025, Peruvian exports of fresh lemon (subtle and Tahiti) reached 40,378 tons, close to breaking the record set throughout 2024 when 41,602 tons were shipped, according to figures from the Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administración Tributaria (Sunat). So far this year, according to the public report, the export of fresh lemon has already totaled US$ 36 million, an encouraging figure if we consider that, throughout 2024, lemon exports reached US$ 41 million. DestinationsThe main destinations for Peruvian lemon were: the United States, which accounted for 38.6% of the total, and Chile, with 25.7%.
