Frozen Peruvian Mango is Recovering Its Place in Agro-Exports, After a Season Where Fresh Mango Took the Spotlight Although in the previous campaign (2023/2024) many producers opted to redirect their fruit to the fresh market, the story is different in 2024-2025. This is indicated by Fluctuante's CEO, David Sandoval, who said "in this last 2024-2025 campaign, that consolidation is being achieved again, with 67,000 tons of frozen mango exported". Mango production processed for freezing is located in the regions of Piura, Lambayeque, Ancash, areas from which fresh fruit also originates. "I see a greater future here, because you are adding more value to that product and we are truly talking about industrialization, because when exporting frozen cubes or frozen mango slices, they are already targeting a market that wants ready to eat or easy to open".
