Peru exported 83,012,725 boxes of table grapes in the 2024/2025 campaign

Peru's table grape exports in the 2024/2025 campaign reached 83,012,725 boxes (8.2 kilos each), reflecting a 32.30% increase compared to the 62,745,826 boxes shipped by Peru in the previous campaign (2023-2024). This was highlighted by Luis Miguel Vegas Arias, general manager of the Peruvian Table Grape Producers Association (Provid), who stated that in the 2024/2025 campaign, Peruvian table grape shipments reached more than 50 international markets. He detailed that Ica was the main table grape exporting region in Peru for the 2024/2025 campaign, with shipments of 41,564,279 boxes, representing an 18.58% increase versus the 35,050,520 boxes (that is, 6,513,759 more boxes). This region concentrated 50.07% of the total volume shipped by the country. The second place is occupied by the Piura region, by sending 29,750.20 boxes, participating with 35.84% of the total.
