Between January and April of 2024, Peru experienced a moderate increase in maca flour exports, reaching 1,019,438 kilos with a FOB value of US$ 7,867,819, up from 764,935 kilos exported in the same period of 2023 valued at US$ 6,349,517. The primary market for these exports was Ecuador, with purchases amounting to US$ 2,450,000, followed by the United States, Brazil, the Netherlands, South Korea, Germany, and Japan. Some of the leading companies involved in these exports include Camel EIRL, Peruvian Nature S&S SAC, Algarrobos Orgánicos del Perú SAC, Peru Naturals Corporation SAC, Camino Andino SAC, and Ecoandino SAC.
