In 2024, Peru experienced a slight increase in its purple corn exports, reaching 1,190,443 kilos with a FOB value of US$ 2,589,279, up from 1,102,175 kilos exported in 2023. The United States was the primary market, accounting for 59% of the total exports, followed by Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ecuador, South Korea, and Italy. The main companies involved in these exports included Miranda-Langa Agro Export, Importadora y Exportadora Doña Isabel, Mi Patria Food SAC, JM Importadora Exportadora y Servicios SAC, Belmont Foods Peru SAC, and Karlini International Foods SAC.
