Peru's Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Juan Carlos Mathews, emphasized the country's success in agricultural exports, particularly in grapes, blueberries, avocados, citrus, coffee, organic bananas, and asparagus. He highlighted the importance of the agro-export subsector and the need for continued efforts to open new markets and negotiate free trade agreements. The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation projected that Peruvian agricultural exports could surpass $12 billion by 2025, with significant contributions from products like blueberries, grapes, coffee, avocado, asparagus, and mango.
