In April 2025, Peruvian artichoke exports continued their positive trend, reaching 3,207 tons valued at $8.45 million. This represented a growth of 53% in volume and 41% in value compared to April 2024, as reported by FreshFruit. This year, Peruvian artichoke reached 11 international destinations, with the United States being the main buyer (66% of the total), followed by Spain (20%) and Germany (3%). Exports to the United States totaled 2,261 tons for $5.58 million, at an average price of $2.47 per kilogram. In the case of Spain, 505 tons were sent for $1.68 million ($3.33 per kilogram).
