Peru's agricultural exports in 2021 reached a value of over $9.0 billion, marking a 15.8% increase from the previous year, as reported by the Peruvian Ministry of Agricultural Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI). The country's fruit exports, including blueberries, table grapes, and avocados, exceeded $4.5 billion, with blueberries being the world's largest export, reaching $1.4 billion. Table grape exports were valued at $1.27 billion, and avocado exports at $1.12 billion. China is a significant market for these exports. In 2022, Peru's agricultural exports are projected to hit $10.0 billion as the country explores market access for additional agricultural products in China.
