In September 2024, Peruvian lemon exports saw a decline, with a decrease of 32% in volume and 29% in value compared to September 2023, totaling 1,928 tons worth $1.9 million. Despite this, the annual cumulative exports show an increase of 30% in volume and 36% in value compared to 2023, with a total of 64,522 tons exported for $69.6 million. Chile and the United States were the main importers of Peruvian lemons in September 2024, accounting for 41% and 39% of the total exports, respectively. The leading exporters were Limones Peruanos S.R.L., Agrocitrus S.A.C., and Procesadora Laran S.A.C., and the shipments were primarily sent from Euroandinos Port Terminals, DP World, and APM Terminals.
