In March 2025, Peru's maca exports experienced a significant decline, totaling 266 tons, which is a 43% drop compared to the 467 tons exported in March 2024. The maca was shipped to 31 countries, with the United States and Brazil being the top destinations, receiving 31% and 12% of the exports, respectively. The main exporters were Peruvian Nature S&S S.A.C. and Algarrobos Orgánicos del Perú S.A.C., holding 32% and 10% of the market share, respectively. There were 25 registered buyers for these shipments.
