Peruvian oil palm exports grow 46.86% in value and 94.40% in volume between January and November of this year

(Agraria.pe) Between January and November 2023, Peruvian oil palm exports amounted to US$62,978,301, registering a growth of +46.86% compared to the US$42,884,169 reached in the same months of the previous year. This was reported by Agrodata Perú, who indicated that one month before the end of this year, shipments of oil palm from Peru totaled 64,052,410 kilos, showing an increase of +94.40% compared to the 32,948,341 kilos obtained in similar period of 2022. He added that in the first eleven months of 2023, the average price of oil palm from Peru in the international market was US$ 0.98 per kilo, which meant a reduction of -24.62% versus the US$ 1.30 per kilogram obtained between January and November of the previous year.
