Between January and September of this year, Peruvian olive exports reached US$ 40,109,329, showing an increase of +2.79% compared to the same period in 2023. The main presentations of olives shipped in the first nine months of 2024 were prepared or preserved olives, provisionally preserved olives, and olives prepared or preserved in vinegar or acetic acid. The main exporting regions were Tacna, Lima, Arequipa, and Callao, and the main destinations were Brazil, Chile, the United States, and Venezuela. The main exporting company was Agroindustria Nobex. Peru is recognizing the fourth Saturday of November as 'National Olive Day' to promote internal consumption and export of Peruvian olives.
