Peruvian onion exports increased 29% in March 2024

Peruvian onion exports totaled 4,118 tons in March 2024, which was 28.9 percent higher than what was reported in the same month of 2023, as reported by Agraria.The distribution of exports in the month showed a concentration in five main markets. The U.S. absorbed 37.2 percent of the total exported, with 1,530 tons. Spain maintained a participation of 31.4 percent, with 1,293 tons.
