Peruvian Organic Foods with Highest Foreign Demand

Organic agricultural product shipments between January and April 2025 totaled $321,300,000, a figure indicating a 48.6% increase compared to the same period last year, reported the Global Economy and Business Research Center of the Exporters Association (CIEN-ADEX). The Organic Agricultural Product Export report indicates that organic cocoa, bananas, and mangoes concentrated 46.5% of the total. Cocoa ($69,441,000) experienced exponential growth of 277.3%, bananas ($41,130,000) contracted by -6.9%, and mangoes ($38,728,000) achieved an increase of 309%. Others included organic coffee ($32,264,000), ginger ($29,255,000), quinoa ($27,435,000), chocolates ($25,000,000), blueberries ($16,000,000), avocado ($13,437,000), and pineapple ($4,000,000). With a 45% participation of the total, the U.S. consolidated itself as the main destination, totaling orders of $144,500,000.
