In September 2024, Peruvian paprika exports saw a decrease of 13% in volume and 19% in value, totaling 3,239 tons worth $11.03 million. The average price per kilogram also decreased by 7%. The cumulative paprika exports for the year have decreased compared to 2023, reaching $111.23 million. The international scope of these exports also decreased, with Mexico and the United States being the main importers. Among the 20 companies that exported paprika, S&M Foods S.A.C., Agroindustrial E&C S.A.C., and Arbayaza Export S.A.C. stood out, and shipments were made through the port terminals of DP World and APM Terminals.
