Peruvian turmeric exports grow 20% in volume between January and October

(Agraria.pe) Peruvian turmeric exports in the period from January to October 2024 reached a total of 3,063.5 tons, growing 20% more in shipments compared to the previous season (2023), reported market analyst Heber Chávez. Peruvian turmeric reached 28 countries, where the main destination was the Netherlands, with a purchase representation of 48.7% of shipments in this period. Spain is the second buyer of turmeric, with 15.4% of shipments in tons. The remaining 24 countries account for 35.8% of shipments of this root.
