The famous Emcelli peppers from Sarıgöl in the Aegean Region were put up for sale in the market set up before Eid al-Adha. The peppers, sold at 250 TL per kilogram, quickly sold out. In the last week of May, the geographically indicated Emcelli peppers were again put up for sale on market stalls on the eve of Eid al-Adha. Producer Nurullah Akbay, who collected 200 kilograms of hot and sweet peppers from the greenhouse, said, "Sacrificial meat becomes more delicious with the taste of Emcelli peppers.
