The Sustainable Food Garden Program (P2L) by the Food Security Agency, in collaboration with the Malang Regency Food Security Service and the Mekar 3 Farmers Group, is showing promising results in Malang Regency. The program aims to enhance family nutrition and improve the welfare of farm households through the cultivation of sustainable food gardens. The program has received support from the Food Security Agency and the Agricultural Extension Center of Wagir sub-district, with a focus on organic vegetable cultivation and the economic benefits of selling the produce. The Mekar 3 Farmers Group has successfully planted mustard greens, chilies, tomatoes, and eggplant, and has produced 4000 polybags for distribution to group members.
