Poland will maintain the ban on the import of wheat, corn, rapeseed, and sunflower seeds from Ukraine, despite changes in European Union rules regarding trade. This is reported by Reuters. In June 2022, the EU temporarily lifted tariffs and quotas on Ukrainian agricultural products following the invasion by Russia to help Ukraine offset higher costs of exporting its goods through the EU after Russia threatened its traditional Black Sea shipping routes.
