Poland is chasing the Netherlands in chocolate exports

"Puls Biznesu" in its Friday edition quotes data from Wedel's report "World and Polish chocolate market 2023". According to these data, in 2022 Poland maintained the fourth position among the world's largest chocolate exporters. "It increased the value of the market from USD 2.3 to 2.38 billion, and the share fell from 7.2 to 7.1 percent. It is close to taking the podium in place of Italy - their share has shrunk from 7.6 to 7.4 percent (USD 2.49 billion) - but it's a long way to Belgium (USD 3.3 billion) and Germany (USD 5.4 billion), we read. According to the newspaper, in terms of export volume, Poland (295,000 tons) is in third place in the European Union, with a 12% share in the total result.
