In 2022, Poland experienced a significant increase in the value of its dairy exports, with a 49% rise to EUR 2.6 billion, primarily due to a weakening of the zloty and a decrease in milk production within the EU. The majority of these exports, accounting for 72% of the total value, were delivered to EU-27 countries. The top importers included Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and Italy, with a focus on various dairy products such as liquid milk, cream, cheese, curd, butter, milk fats, and whey.
