Poland's livestock exports, including meat and processed products, saw a significant increase in revenue and volume for poultry products from January to July 2022. Poultry exports reached a value of EUR 2.8 billion, with profits from beef and veal at EUR 1.3 billion and pork at EUR 980 million. The country exported 1.1 million tonnes of poultry products, a 9.5% increase year-on-year, but experienced a 5% decrease in the export volume of livestock, meat, and beef and veal products, totaling 271 thousand tonnes. Despite this, pork imports increased by 14% to 589,000 tonnes. Overall, exports of these products and pork fats were down by 11%, amounting to 366 thousand tonnes.
