In the first 11 months of 2021, Ukraine experienced a significant increase in pork imports, with a 27% rise compared to the same period in the previous year, totaling $ 67 million and 36,600 tons, a 36% increase from the earlier period. The country's pork exports also saw growth, with a 19% year-on-year increase amounting to $ 6.9 million. The main suppliers of pork were Denmark, Poland, and the Netherlands, while the UAE, Hong Kong, and Georgia were the primary buyers. Additionally, Ukraine imported 31,429 tons of lard, valued at $ 24.7 million, barely missing the 32,281 tons imported in the same period of the previous year.
