Pork prices have come close to last year's in Ukraine: will they last?

Analysts of the Association "Swine Producers of Ukraine" note a slight decrease in retail prices for chilled pork semi-finished products on the shelves of national retail chains. During November, prices for chilled pork on supermarket meat counters were slightly lower than a month earlier, the analytical department of the Association "Swine Producers of Ukraine" notes: "If in October the average price of a kilogram of pork fluctuated within 207.5–209 UAH/kg, then in November we recorded a decrease in this range to 203.5–207.5 UAH/kg. So, according to the results of the last month of autumn, consumers paid 1.1% or 2.2 UAH/kg less than the previous one - 205.7 UAH/kg. At the same time, the purchase prices of pork for the corresponding period were slightly higher than in October: a kilogram of pork in slaughter weight cost an average of 61.2 UAH/kg, which is 5.9% higher than in October. ...
