Africaan swine fever has been reported in Russia's Perm Territory and Sverdlovsk Region, leading to temporary restrictions on the supply of live pigs and other susceptible species from these regions to Belarus. A ban has also been imposed on the import of pork and other pig-related products into Belarus, including leather and hunting trophies from affected animals. Pig breeding complexes in the affected areas have been informed of the need to increase biological protection of their facilities.
