Spain: Positive evolution of the export of red fruits

The Spanish export of red fruits (raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and currant) has maintained a positive evolution in the first half of the year, with a growth of 17% compared to the same period of the previous year, totaling 780 million euros, as well as strawberries, which grew by 22%, totaling 674 million euros. The red fruits analyze, today and tomorrow, their future challenges, in the sixth International Congress, organized by the Huelva Association of Strawberry Producers and Exporters of Huelva, Freshuelva. In volume, the Spanish export of red fruits from January to June 2021 has also been positive, totaling 122,155 tons, which is 17% more than in the first half of 2020, according to data from the Customs and Excise Department, processed by FEPEX, which include raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and currant.
