Farmers in the Ivanovo region of Russia have harvested 23.4 thousand tons of potatoes, a 19.4% increase compared to the previous year. This rise is mainly due to the expansion of potato planting and the support provided by the state to farmers through the "Development of Vegetable and Potato Growing" project. Furthermore, subsidies totaling 6.1 million rubles were given to support potato production, with plans to increase support to 10.7 million rubles in the coming year. In addition to potatoes, the region also achieved a record yield of grain and leguminous crops in the past 25 years, with a total of 194 thousand tons harvested.
