Potato imports to Uzbekistan increased by 42,000 tons in January-February

According to the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in January-February 2022, Uzbekistan imported 122.4 thousand tons of potatoes from 7 countries in the amount of $21 million. Potato imports increased by almost 42 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period last year, writes Nuz.uz. It follows from the published information that 4,000 tons of tubers were shipped from Afghanistan to the country in two months.
