A successful international cooperation between Korea and Vietnam in agriculture has led to the identification of numerous Korean vegetable varieties suitable for Vietnam's ecological characteristics, including Summer King cabbage, CT17 cabbage, and Shin Dong Ha radish. These varieties have shown high yield, pest and disease resistance, and consumer preference. The production cost in Vietnam is only half the price of foreign imports, creating more jobs, raising incomes, and improving farming skills. The cooperation has also increased biodiversity in Vietnamese fields and has been established for consumption and processing for export.
