Chicken prices in Egypt have dropped significantly, from 95 pounds to 75 pounds per kilo, following the introduction of 100,000 tons of Brazilian poultry into the market. The price of chicks has also seen a decrease. The Giza Chamber of Commerce's Poultry Division expects further price drops as the market adjusts to increased supply and in anticipation of Ramadan. These budget-friendly frozen chicken cuts, available in various weights, are now the primary offering at government agencies, aiming to stabilize chicken prices after a recent surge.
