Poultry prices in Egypt have increased, with white poultry ranging from 36 to 37 pounds per kilo and turkey from 50 to 65 pounds per kilo. The government is encouraging the establishment of integrated poultry projects in desert areas and aims to increase poultry exports to Saudi and Kuwait. The annual domestic production of poultry is about 1.4 billion chickens, and the industry has an investment of about 90 billion pounds. Egg production is 13 billion eggs annually, and the number of ducks in Egypt is approximately four million, which is 7% of the total poultry number.
