A recent report has highlighted significant increases in the prices of key agricultural products, including a 16.2% surge for rapeseed in the European market, an 8.5% rise for milled wheat, and a 4.5% increase in maize in Paris. Similarly, wheat, corn, and soybeans experienced price hikes in Chicago, with wheat reaching $261.7 per tonne, corn at $248.96 per tonne, and soybeans at $557.04 per tonne. These increases are attributed to concerns over corn harvest prospects due to cold weather in the U.S. and drought in Brazil, alongside the strength of the weakening dollar. Meanwhile, the cost of orange juice saw a 1.3% decrease. Additionally, Europe saw a positive trend with rapeseed, milled wheat, and corn, with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's recent sales of corn and soybeans to various destinations.
