Prices for red caviar have started to decrease.

According to the analytical center of the Fish Union, in the largest specialized network, which serves as a "price indicator" for the federal retail market, consumer prices for salmon caviar have gone down. Thus, as of August 26, compared to mid-July, nerka caviar became cheaper by 9%, chum caviar by 2%. At the same time, keta caviar became more expensive by 1%, and the price of pink salmon caviar remained unchanged. The downward trend in the wholesale sector is more pronounced: according to the monitoring of the Telegram channel "Neither fish nor meat," from mid-July to August 26, wholesale prices for keta caviar decreased by 13%, chum caviar by 20%, and nerka caviar by 8%.
